The lighting conditions at this spot were very poor, so I had to do a lot of post-editing work to achieve a reasonable result.

Ah, maar wat een heerlijke sfeer straalt hiervan uit. Soms zijn foto's die wat minder gunstig belicht zijn daardoor wat minder 'scherp' en juist zachter. Persoonlijk wint deze foto daardoor schoonheid. Editing werk verdiend zeker ook een compliment! Mich

You have done an excellent job with the editing, Mr. C. The lighting looks very nice now, and the reflections are really good. I love that heron, and I love the golden tones on the water. Very nice image.

You sure caught a doozy here C. What a great shot. The water looks so bright and almost golden for being muddy. How wonderful it is when you stumble upon something like this and you have your camera. Great post.
