My good friend John (rozem061) has recently posted some wonderful close-up's of ebony eyed bambi's. After watching these images, I decided that I couldn't stay behind (lol!), so I went, with 'some' apples to the forests (in the vicinity of the village of Oostkapelle, Zeeland, The Netherlands) from which I know that one can find usually deer there. I was lucky to see a lot of them. When I approached this 'innocent' friend with care and offered it an apple, it had some doubts whether it would run away or accept the apple. Not hard to guess what it finally did, else I coudn't have taken this capture.

Very nice image of the innocent looking Bambi Cornelius. I was last year at a deer park and took some photos. I was surprised to see how tame they were. The ones lying down (or is it sitting?) didn't even bother to get up when I approached like here

The way they are hunted around here they are not that trusting. A great shot and it looks grateful for the apple.
