A couple of days ago I said that the winter (temporary) was gone from the part of the world where I'm living, as it was raining cats and dogs. This morning however we were 'surprised' by fresh snow again.

This image was taken in our first wint'ry period, and shows how a pale wint'ry' sun is trying to peek through the mist.

Image is taken on the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. Hope you'll like it. Thank you in advance for your comment.

You have captured the diffused glow of the sun very well Cornelius. The ground and the trees look great covered in "powdered sugar". A lovely image.

Cornelius - The green grass beneath the snow crust means it is not a bleak midwinter. There is enough sunlight to produce highlights and shadows, adding to the scene. I like the sweeping lines of the grass, trees and sky - an excellent composition. Thad

I think Hoarfrost's brother Jack has been working overtime Sea. What a beautiful scene. I think you would have been covered had you stood there too long. Everything else is.
Good health to you and yours.

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.
