Traditional windmills in the Netherlands usually have their own name. As always, there are exceptions to the rule. This one, for instance, got no name after it was built in 1704. Therefore people mentioned this mill 'Herdink's Mill' because the late mr. Herdink was its owner. 'Herdink's Mill' can be found on the peninsula South Beveland, Zeeland, the Netherlands near the small town of Goes.

PS: nowadays the mill is still capable of grinding. It grinds from time to time, but mostly for demonstrations to tourists.OFT
