This is one of the 'Bloemendaal Church Windows' in the 'Graves Hall' of the City Hall of the city of Haarlem, The Netherlands.
It's probably made in 1636 by the Haarlem glass artist Peter Holsteijn in a series of 10 windows for the church of the Dutch village Bloemendaal (adjacent to Haarlem). Two centuries later they should be restored. However, there was a serious lack of money.
A Bloemendaal salesman then offered to replace the windows by new, ordinary, glass.
The 'deal' was accepted, and in October, 1867 the 'old' windows were bought (for a ridiculous small amount of money) by the city of Haarlem.
After being restored, they are still there.
This image was captured in the medieval 'Graves Hall'. When one peeks through the window, one can see partly the street in which the 'Graves Hall' is situated.
It's my entry for the 'Windows' contest.
