In my additional comment on THIS ONE, I've told you that I was searching for more 'strange' sculptures near someone's property.

On my 'discovery trip', I've found and captured this scene in a side yard of a small shop in the little medieval town of Veere, Zeeland, The Netherlands (only available in the Dutch language).

This art hasn't to do anything with the medieval character of this town. It's on the contrary however, because it can be qualified as contemporary art.

A tad manic to me, so it's my weekly Manic Monday contribution.

A perfect photo for manic Monday Cornelius. Very odd shapes and constructions make it so.

Very manic and a delight to view but I would not sure I would welcome them in my garden - but then on the other hand they would be earier to care for than plants !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Manic indeed. I guess I've never understood gaudy lawn ornaments. At least these were behind a wall. Years ago my neighbors had gigantic (2 meter wing span) fluorescent blue butterflies all over their yard and hanging from trees. These are a little classier than the blue butterflies and could be one of a kind works of sculpture.
