Don't know whether this sculpture in real was a king, prince or just an important person in the 17th or 18th century. What I know for sure, and referring to the narrative of THIS ONE, is that I've found an interesting and tall sculpture in of one of his or her property again.

A tad manic to me, so it's my entry for Manic Monday.

It's my weekly entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge (BWC) as well.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Great find for MM again

Another great statue for the front yard! Lots of fine details in this sculpture. Good one for the b/w challenge too.

Well, his expression has certainly been protrayed well by the sculptor and he does indeed look slightly manic. Living where he does with other strange articles I am not surprised :)
Saved for the BWC Cornelius - thank you !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Looks like a sculpture of Mozart to me - most interesting Mr. C. and nice tones in the greys.

I think the location for this sculpture is what makes this a great MM entry.

Ii'm sure there was a model who inspired the scultured, hard face features amd questioning eyes, great fiand, great shot

Very well done Cornelius. I have never been able to capture the detail in the sculpture that you have.

This how the film making artists use light to achieve results like this as you did for the eyes , the perspective is great as well. Fine work Cornelius.

Very bold look to this image because of the light and dark contrast. Another fine shot.
