This early night-shot was taken on December 29th, 2018 in Amsterdam, the capital of my small country (The Netherlands) on the occasion of the light festival there.
This scene was captured in one of the narrow streets leading to the Dam Square.
As I've said before, shooting wasn't that easy because of the limiting photo conditions by a very crowded city because of the event (see the people at the left/down corner of this image), so the intention was to visualize the atmosphere/mood rather than providing you with an optimal night shot.

Stunning capture, the composition really makes a huge difference for me. Normally I would have thought that this scene would have been too confusing, but you have just the right amount of sky and it works beautifully. Wonderful.
