This scene was captured on June 1st, 2019 in one of the streets of Utrecht, a city in the center of my country, The Netherlands.

Think that the inhabitants of this street had some doubts about the weather forecast. Their 'solution' seems to be suitable for any weather condition (protection for both very sunny or cats and dogs pouring conditions), 😜 ! Anyhow a manic situation to me, hence it's my Manic Monday (Mē) contribution for this week!

Lots of protection for those rainy days and added color and cheerfulness on those sunny days...a unique and fun display and good one for MM.

In Germany (Flensburg) I have seen shoes hung like this but this is much more colorful and beautiful. I wonder how it will be when strong winds blow. Nice and interesting capture Cornelius.

Seems I remember Casechaser (John) posting something with a lot of umbrella's a while back SEA.
I saw a bunch of them in a festival at Red Oak, Minnesota some years ago.
I don't want to rain on anyone's parade,☂️ but this one is beautiful.
