The vehicles carrier 'Hoegh Yokohama' (IMO: 9185451) was captured by me off the Belgian coast on her way to the Belgian port of Antwerp.

By checking-out the link above one can find some characteristics of this ship. The height however isn't given. My estimate that it's about 33 meters from the water line until the primary, main or upper deck and is about 47 meters from the water line to the top of the mast on the upper deck. High enough however to cause the temporary lack of wind for the passing sailboat, hence my title.

Well timed photo showing the yacht in comparison to the high car carrier. I have never been on a car carrier and have always wondered how they react when the wind goes up to force 9 Cornelius.

You can see the ramp where they most likely unload the vehicles SEA. Great title and wonderful capture of the sailboat for perspective.
I wonder how many are on the crew?
I see where it headed for San Juan, Puerto Rico.
What a great shot.

Tick (OFT), for this type of vessel usually 24 persons.

That is a great comparison. That ship is absolutely gigantic. I'm sure the sailboat has some sort of propulsion to get it on its way. It is always an adventure with your camera work, Cornelius.
