This capture of a grey heron (Ardea cinerea) in flight was taken on one of my photo shoots not far from where I live.

In my country this bird is called a blue heron however.

Well timed and well taken shot Cornelius. Either the heron had enough to eat or it is disappointed and flying away.

Those blue herons are one of my favorites to photograph. This is a marvelous action shot, Cornelius, and the scenery is great for it. Good job.

We call it a blue heron as well SEA. You timing was very good. They are a nervous bird and don't stick around to converse.
Excellent photo.
