An area at the south bank of the Maas river In Rotterdam, The Netherlands, is called 'Kop van Zuid' (Head of South). Recently new buildings there were constructed. They are very contrasting against the existing old buildings/houses there. For further details please check-out this link.
On the right hand side of this image one can partly see the Erasmus bridge.

"New" is always in progress, isn't it Mr C? For there was a period when the "Old" in this picture was being built after the then "old" was torn down to make room. We will (probably) not be here when this "new" experiences the same fate, but it is sure to happen.

Change happens. My old home town looks nothing like it did when I was a child. There are hardly any landmark buildings left. This is a good image well done, Cornelius, and a thought-provoker.
