Taken in the south-west sand dunes of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

If I had taken this scene now, we would have seen a pretty different photograph, because of our first serious snowfall this winter season. But because it's not allowed to trespass this area by car (except for persons doing a service job there), there are for me some physical limitations to do a photo shoot there because of about 10" of snow. The advantage of this disadvantage is that it will prevent me from getting a broken leg, or something like that, 😁 !

Cornelius, don't challenge Mother Nature, she always wins! I love seeing the village up ahead. A view shared by millions over countless centuries, I bet. I am glad to be included.

I love this image with the grassy landscape, Cornelius! It feels so open country and full of earth tones. I wouldn't want you to hazard your health for any picture. I sure it would be a lovely scene with all that snow but your safety is more valuable.

I like all the curves in this composition Mr. C. - really feeling the rolling hills.

This photo of the area is beautiful and I'd wait till Spring to try again for a shot. I didn't realize that the dunes had so much foliage, guess a person learns something new each day.

I love the angle and lines to lead us into this lovely image. I don't try to mess with mother nature either, she will usually win in the end, especially as I get older. :) tigs=^..^=

I love this capture and the place you presented to us. I prefer it before the snow. I am not a winter person.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
