The 'Anna' (designator: TX37) was built in 1931. Her (as ships are female, 😁) initial name was 'Anthonie', after her owner Pieter Anthonie van der Vis. She was one of the first fishing cutters modeled on the herring loggers. She sailed as a fishing vessel until 1977. Then she was converted into a sailing charter ship (capacity: 12 passengers). Now she's sailing as a historically rigged sailing ship. Her present home port is Rotterdam. At this picture she's moored at one of the quays of Middelburg, a town in Zeeland, The Netherlands, on the occasion of a national port call.
