Nowt wrong with this Debs.....you got a great close-up, and the colours are spot-on!...good composure, and you done right in selecting a dark backing for it.....very well done..........................Bob

Hello Debb,
after all those nice comments you reward me with I am glad I can give you a usefull tip.
But first of all, this is really beautiful!
As you might know I love shooting lillies myself, since I have them in my garden. You will find at least two photos in my own gallery.
But here is the tip: if the background was pretty dark in the original non edited photo, then you don't need to edit anything to create a (completely) black background.
You see, all you have to do is shift the left side cursur of the histogram to the right side.
Maybe you cannot follow me right here, but please have a look in a photo editor program at the histogram functionalty.
A recent example of a photo that I "edited" that way in about 10 seconds is my last post "look mum, no hands". That hog I photographed was standing before a dark, but not black, backdrop. With the histogram shift I then made the background black.
It's simple and easy.
I hope this tip will help you creative more gems like Twins!
Succes!
Paul
