With the cold snap that we had in Florida earlier this year It took a toll on all the Palm trees in the area around my home. But where Nature reeks havoc it also creates the opportunity to rebuild .. This momma bird decided to take up residence in what was left of my Palm tree to make her nest. I couldn't trim my tree until she left along with the kids .. Hope you all enjoy and thanks for your tips, thoughts and comments.

That's pretty cute. I think the bird is camera shy. Great lighting and clarity, Jelly. Very nice post.

That is just precious. There she is peeking out at you! I too think she's camera shy. This is so nice, that things still have a way of renewal. Thank you so much for a tender moment. Verena

At first glance I thought, "What the heck, Jelly, you losing it?" Then I read your post and looked further. That's a pretty cool capture, Jellyman, but does your camera allow manual focus? I don't know what kind of camera you use, but I assume she hung out there for a while to let you shoot this one, and that and manual focus would have allowed you to get her nice and sharp. Just a thought.
