As Shakespeare wrote in Twelfth Night, "Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them." This little mountain seems to be dreaming the impossible. At least that's the way it appeared to me. Thanks to all who view and comment. (See first comment below for location info.) This photo is also available here.

That's quite an impressive mountain and I'm glad to see lots of snow on it. Somehow snow is beginning to represent survival to our globe. An amazing perspective, Donna. The little mountain isn't big enough yet for snow. LOL The colors are wonderful.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I have to agree with Charlie. I truly looked to see in which category you had placed this and was surprised to see it wasn't a manip. It's a one-of-a-kind shot, no doubt. Just fantastic!!

Nope, definitely not a manip (aside from playing with the curves in PS). It's just the clouds and haze that create the effect.

That’s a remarkable photo Donna. At first it looks like a manipulation but closer inspection shows that it’s just an outstanding photo. Love the view, the colours and clarity. It’s a photo to be proud of.

This is such a perfect shot. I am often in ore of what I see on here, and of the mountains around America, I am very gelous. Kind of puts our little nipple in Ireland to shame lol. great image
