Tanju, I do like it and all the contrasts it presents. The walkway, the tree, the setting sun, and the far off shores - all excellent. I also like your title. It reminded me of a famous couple of lines from from Henry Wadsworth Longfellows Paul Revere's Ride:
He said to his friend, "If the British march By land or sea from the town to-night, Hang a lantern aloft in the belfry arch Of the North Church tower as a signal light,-- One if by land, and two if by sea; And I on the opposite shore will be, Ready to ride and spread the alarm Through every Middlesex village and farm, For the country folk to be up and to arm."
"If people destroy something replaceable made by mankind, they are called vandals; if they destroy something irreplaceable made by God, they are called developers." Joseph Wood Krutch (1893-1970)
The composition of the picture is very good. Stone slabs, and the tree in the foreground gives a good sense of presence in the picture. The light and the colors are very good. You have made a very beautiful sunset photo. Tanju. Christer
Again a very 'strong' composition Tanju. Love this very fine image with a somewhat mysterious and tranquil atmosphere. Well done, my friend. Regards, Cornelius.
This is so beautiful Tanju. Moody lighting and just enough light to see the beauty of the textured stone slabs in the forground. I also like the lonely tree very much. Excellent!
