Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
I love poppies and I want to thank you for sharing....there seems to be a shortage of poppies photos...:)Gorgeous shot!Love the background and the sharp poppies petals !
Refering to then first sentence in your narrative, it's amazing to me that you've gotten this result with only a shutter speed of 1/100 and the use of a handheld telelens, Tanju, because poppies are that light and fragile that even the smallest breeze will move and shake them. Very well done. Regards, Cornelius.
Edit: Tanju has sent me a PM in which he corrected a little typing error: shutter time wasn't 1/100 but 1/1000. Has disappointed me somewhat because I thought that Tanju was a photographic magician, lol.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
They are so well named, they literally pop with color surrounded by the field of green. A scenic beauty I don't think I've ever seen in person. Thank you for sharing it. Very nice!
