The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
You have captured the subtle beauty of this magnolia in a perfect way, Tanju. I have admiration for your photographic skills, my friend! Thanks for this wonderful F² image! Regards, Cornelius.
Love the forms, shapes, and colour tones in the bokeh. Most inviting and visually interesting/intriguing. Well, aside from the photographic star of your image here of course.
Of interest (perhaps?)..
And I quote;
"Yes. There should be no problem concerning the shutter speed especially combined with flash, but you have to be careful in order not to move the focal plane as you press the shutter if you use manual focus. Thats the biggest reason for hand held out of focus macro shots, though some may mistakenly believe its caused by camera shake.
There are different theories about what the "safe" shutter speed is in macro shooting handheld (one theory can be found here: zen.co.uk - "Depth of Field, Image Quality and Sensor Size"), but a 1/250 speed should on a general level be fast enough with a 100 mm macro if you have a reasonably good buttonpressing technique. It should be like a Tai chi chuan -movement done in slowmotion where you dont actually hit the button in order to release the shutter. Instead you press slowly in a fluent motion that has no beginning or end like if it where never to reach its peak. You just happen to hear the shutter sound as if it would surprise you. A too fast and jumpy button pressing technique on the other hand can cause even a 1/500 shutter speed to be quite insufficient to stop unsharpness building from hand shake or/and faulty pressing technique. It may seem strange but this is "The way" to capture even fast action sports pictures with relatively sloow shutter speeds. You have to know the moment but not rush into it. Apparently I ended up philosophizing. Hopefully you find it of some help."
Loads of stuff to read on the linked site contained in the quote above.
As well as, links on that page leading to more interesting reading material.
Well done, it is a beautifully executed artistic shot.
And but of course.. thank you for sharing this one with us (and the EXIF data). :o)
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
