I think this is the flower good morning, (it opens in the morning) and good evening (closes in the evening). The "bell" is very tiny and sensitive. The rain drops are so refreshing here. I love this flower, you made a nice shot, Tanju.
Beautiful, Tanju. I always liked morning glories and still even have a few that frost has not touched. If anything, I might have tried (not sure it would have been successful) to tone down the greens just a bit because they seem to detract from the beauty of the blue flower in their brightness. Maybe just a notch darker for brightness in the hue/stauration function. I love the focus on this very much.
Tanju, I have read Cindy's comment above, but I've my doubts, like she has, whether her advice would have been succesful or not. A green background for a purple flower has a far higher difficulty level rather than a red flower against a black background. Think that given those circumstances, you have achieved the best possible result.
Fabulous Tanju, love this gorgeous capture and the colours, love the droplets on the pedals. Reminds me of the song Purple Rain You are such a fantastic photographer
A glorious Morning Glory Tanju. Beautiful shade of purple melting into pink. The rain drops give it a rather sad look but the sun will soon shine again
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
A very beautiful picture of the flower, the only thing I miss in the picture are the sharpness of the front part of the flower. But that's just my humble opinion. Moreover, a very good picture Tanju. Christer
