The weather was very pleasant this thursday. It was about 23C and the wind was so weak. A great day to take my bike ride and take lots of photos. :) The roses in this series were around a pool in a public garden at the far end of my route. Enjoy my friends.

280mm, f11, 1/320, ISO 100, -1EV, P Mode, Nikon D3000, Tamron 70-300, Macro mode, Handheld.

I never managed to ride a bike and snap at the same time...how do you do it?...lol

It's not often we snap a rose from the backside...it's different but good

A beautiful pink and such good clarity. Very nice image Tanju. Looks great with part only lit by the sun and also with that background.

One of the things I remember about Turkey were the many roses that could be seen in the public gardens. This one is quite delicate and beautiful, a very lovely pink and the image is definitely high quality. What I'd like to see is a shot of you getting this shot. lol

Original way of capturing a rose, Tanju. The result is surprisingly good to me. Tought that we had high temperatures (18°C/64°F) for this time of the year, but Turkey has beaten us again, lol.

Regards, Cornelius.

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
