---Might be a trillium!?---

I even searched the net to found the proper name for it, but I didn't succeed, Tanju. It's anyhow a wonderful and very special F² image, taken very well.

Regards, Cornelius.

Great colour contrasts, Tanju.

Very eye catching. Deep and rich, each in their own right (erhm.. channel? :oP).

Nicely composed. Like the DOF that brings out the supporting stem/branch in the left-hand side.

Quite a delicate and beautiful bloom.

And..

If a true trillium, as I am not sure myself, they take some time to come into bloom.

My province's flower (Ontario, Canada) is the trillium. And they are protected for just the reason mentioned.. as it takes up to eleven.. count'em ... eleven (11) years for the flower to emerge.

Nice one. :o)

Beautiful capture, I'm not sure it's a trillium, looks to me a type of iris. Lovely blossom and colour

Whatever it is it is beautiful - such a lovely colour and a fine shot.

I also do not think it is a trillium. I have never seen them with those centre petals. It looks very like a miniature iris.
