PORSCHE-BoxterS, Simple studioshot. Simple also because of it's limited budget. 2002 Digital shoot on Phase One, Hasselblad, Broncolor-flash. Shooting took (only) one day, Photoshop an additional day. With a lot of automotive experience, in the analog years a shot like this would take at least 5 days (TC camera, lots of Polaroid, Tungsten light and approx. 4 assistants), in 2002 we "shot" this digital… including cosmetic retouch in less then 2 days… Assignment and Published either in Playboy or AutoWeek (really don't know anymore). Great that you allow us again to have a look in the world of professional photography, Evert. Think most of us have no idea what has to be done to fulfill the required (photographical) specifications.
Although the car model isn't brandnew anymore, I'll send you my adress in order to give you the opportunity to park the car in front of my house. If I'm not at home please put the keys in the mailbox, LOL!
Regards, Cornelius.

This is not only a professional, and beautiful shot, to hear about all the time and effort that went into producing this is amazing. In this day and age of "give me everything right now," I think most people would not have the patience to do this. Excellent presentation, Evert.

As a lover of sports cars and photography, I really enjoyed seeing this unique shot and the details involved in it's creation. I guess this is the view the birds have when they are aiming at my MX-5.

Love the way the car was lit it really emphasises the contours of the body, for me the perspective also shows off how the design of the different components compliment each other.
As a Porsche fan its a favourite.

Hi Evert. Thanks for sending this. It is almost identical to my current car except for the color (mine is speed yellow). It reminds me that I should go out an wash "old yeller" today.
