A very serene and beautiful image. The white trees are so awesomely beautiful against the hues of brown. It's reminiscent of the snow I'm longing for. 8-)
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Sorry if we're boring you Patti! LOL But if it leads to this kind of work we'll be sure to do it more often! This would make a great Xmas card IMO. Make it a gold foil background, and maybe put in a lone red cardinal in one of the branches, and it would be perfect! Nice job Patricia! *waits for Hallmark cards to call*
WHAT IS MAN WITHOUT THE BEASTS? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. ~Chief Seattle VISIT MY GALLERY
First ... I would love to see the original without the effects.
The base image looks particularly strong and I am a curious guy. :oP
This is a fine example of trying new things ... and succeeding extremely well in my mind. And I am sure it will serve to provide an impetuus to others to play around and push their own personal boundaries.
That ... is a high compliment. To provide inspiration? Wow.
You have for me and I thank you for sharing your talents and efforts.
p.s. It just came to me ... the one slight caveat ... and this is just personal preference, not a slight against your composition.
The four corners that appear in the four corners? (<--- Did I just write that? :oP)
The blur or smudge tool might be might be able to cut down on the delineation of those lines. I would like to see that aspect of your border more seamless and blended, that's all.
Well it's anything but boring Patti. It caught my eye first thing in the new images. I like the colors used here a great deal. The white tree limbs appear lace-like and extremely delicate. A lovely piece of artwork in my eyes. I'm a bit ambivalent regarding the frame. I like it and then again I have doubts about it here. Then I thought I don't recall ever seeing an image where (this will be murder to describe) the smaller main section appears to be sunken in ... so as to give the illusion it was behind the outer frame rather than in front or on top of the outer frame. Is that possible to give it a "shadow box effect"? Now that I've got you reading that last bit of mish mash 6 or 7 times wondering what the devil I'm trying to say ... I'll leave with a simple "Wonderful Image" you've created out of boredom. :o)
it seems you've got everyone's attention, Ms. Fogz, and rightly so....as here I am commenting when I have to no business sticking my two cents' worth in after all the cogitating and elucidating that's gone on before me. I like it..how's that?
