.....beautiful old church in the little village of Tissington in Derbyshire. This village is like stepping back in time - little cottages, small school, farm, and small manor house .....I loved walking around - now if only I had a magic wand to make the cars disappear! lol!

This is indeed a beautiful old church. I love your shot of it. You are so great in those shots of great buildings. This is another example of it.

hmm i clicked this new posting in the friends list 4 times before, but got: no such image does exists grrrr, but it was worth the wait for sure.
The angle it is taken from, looking up the the short tower of the Church, and the grave stones inbetween, could not be shot like this overhere. (flat country)
For me, the angle makes the image, looking great ...thanks a lot for this posting Patti.

Nice job Patti, the lighting is very good in this. I like the old places too, something with some history just to take a step back and look where we came from...........and IF we're really better off where we're at. :-)

Great composition Patti, with excellent shadows and colours. The angle is dramatic - it makes the gravestones look as if they are beginning to tumble down the slope. (Perhaps they are?)

I like the point of view of this, Patti. If it wasn't for the contrail there would be no trace of modern man in it at all - and that's hard to come by now-a-days. You have a great eye -

What a beautiful fall-back-in-time photo! So old so old... T'rific composition and all. I do love the tree branches etched in the sky.
