.....and continuing on the theme of Pride & Prejudice, we are at another film location much closer to my home ~ Lyme Park and the beautiful 18th century Tudor Lyme Hall in Cheshire. The famous scene where Darcy emerges from the lake was filmed here. I was there yesterday as I am not working this week - it was the best time for photography as there were very few people around and I didn't have to clone out any people or give them the foggy look like ~ you are spoiling my photograph!!! ;) lol!

Fantastic Capture Patti ! You have a Professional's Eye when it comes to picking what goes into a photo and the angle at which you shoot it. This shot is indeed a 10. Just Beautiful !

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.

A fine shot. Given your position I would say you were sneaking around. Nicely done.

Very nice shot Patti! I like all the color you managed to include by catching the flowers along with the building. Excellent job of composing your shot and marvelous reflections too. It's a goody!! C):-)

Patti, without flowers (the flowers on that small island as well) and the trees it would be an image of just a static Lyme Hall. Now it's a beautiful composition. Well captured! Regards, Cornelius

I am sorry that this weekend I didn't get to comment on all the photos. I took a weekend trip and when I got back there were plenty. Hopefully the photo's I took and am posting will somehow make up for it. Smile Steve

It's beautiful and austere and oh so big...Lovely composition and reflections on the water. I love all those flowers that you included in this capture, they add a great spot of colour. Excellent image Patti. :)

Awefully good composition Patti, specialy with the island of flowers, and it was also good to include the red flowers at the left side of the picture to give it more color.
Just think what such a house must have cost to run back in those days. I have no clue, but it must be astronomical.
