.......looking out from Stirling Castle and standing in the steps of Scottish ancestors instils a real sense of history - photograph taken from my visit to Scotland in February - this photograph has a lot of faults, but it has an atmosphere which I tried to capture, so I have left it untouched.

This looks awesome! I'm glad you didnt change anything Patricia. I like the haze you captured over the city too! I bet the ancestors had a bit of a different view in their time didn't they? Nice capture! C):-)

You are so very correct...this image has such a great atmosphere to it. What I really like is how it has both the old (castle) and new (smoke stacks in the background). Great job!!

You have such a great eye for a capture, Patti. This is lovely and moody all at the same time.

What a view Patti, I think you did well to just leave it be for the realism of it. :)

I'm glad you posted as is. It is a very interesting image worth significant study. It does look like it could be a frame from a movie. Very nicely done.

I love the DOF and the descending view of the city from the foreground. The silhouettes and haze add a lot of atmosphere. It's a beautiful night shot Patti. :)
