......I could not go to Salford Quays without taking a shot of the magnificent structure that spans the Manchester Ship Canal ....the Millennium Bridge - no guesses for how it got it's name! lol! This bridge is very popular with photographers and I had to dodge a few to capture this shot myself! remember our last visit? - when I had you all on bicycles! lol! Last photo upload for a while. I am travelling to Oxfordshire tomorrow to visit my sister for a few days, then next weekend I will be in the Lake District, Cumbria! :) Bob has put out a national warning to clear the roads! haha! ps I deleted the first upload and added a border as the image size was not correct! so if you are feeling like you are experiencing déjà vu then you probably are! lol!

vu who ?? Very nice job Patti, how many people did you have to throw off the bridge for this shot ?? LOL I like the perspective on this one, very nicely done indeed. P.S. I think I saw that on the news about clearing the roads over there for the mad woman with the camera. ROFL

I started making pictures round about march 2006 and then stopped in feb 2007 because I sold my camera to Harm Gunnink who is also a member. I'am now saving money for the sony alhpa a100. Hope you like the pics P.S. is it maybe possible if you have time to also give suggestion on how to improove my pictures but compliments are also good!

Out of the two 'perspective' shots, I really like this one. It has a symmetrical feeling to it and the blue skies look great. Nice job in dodging the photographers too...hope you weren't throwing some elbows around to clear the way, you never know who that photographer might be!!!

Really love the perspective of this shot. Makes me feel like I'm on the bridge myself.

It's funny, I was looking at your gallery and this and Condor lined up, and the angles are very similar.

As for the shot itself, I rather like the angle. If only people would disappear for a moment.
