.....still walking around Lyme Park - there are so many routes you can take - I have been there many times but never been this way, so it is new for me too - I was really taken by these avenues of trees - I was stopping every few metres to take photographs - and of course it gives you time to catch up ....and there is even a bench there for someone to park himself! ;)

It is a wonderful view with the shot through the trees. By any chance did you also get one from owd's bench. I guess I always want to see what I cannot. I would have been a fine astronaut. lol. Another very good picture, Patti.

I noticed your comments in Jim Bobcat's post that you liked avenue of trees. I do as well and this is a good one. I see knot-hole that likely houses a squirrel. Maybe a bird. If I were to sit on bench for any lenth of time, I'd keep an eye on it. Excellent photo and has a warm feel to it. Good one Patti.

Wait for me wait for me!! Look, I'm on a diet ok and it's making me weak. Hipflask? No I couldn't possibly, do you have any idea how many calories there are in Babycham?

I can imagine a horse and cart driving along this avenue in its heyday, there are echoes of the past everywhere. Those trees are really impressive, I bet they could tell some stories if they could talk!

There are few things more wonderful in the world than a grand avenue of trees and you have certainly done these beauties justice. Excellent image Patti.

Do I see a little patch of snow there? It looks almost like trees are becoming anxious to leaf out. Very peaceful indeed..
