Not too far from my home and the perfect place to be for some peace and quiet. It was a perfect sunny day when I took this photo and not a soul in sight. Looks like a good place to go fishing doesn't it? Thanks to all who view and leave a comment if you wish.

Lets put a boat in Eileen! I'll even let you row! lol This is very pretty!! Such a nice area you live in! The water looks so blue & I like the flowers you caught near the center. The dead tree kind of adds character to this as well. Nicely done Eileen..now lets wet a line & see what's in there. ;-) Thanks for sharing this pretty scene! ~Dan C):-)

What serenity is portrayed here Eileen. Definitely a place to run to with the wonderful blue sky (love the touch of pink in it) and nature's expanse. This is a terrific post. Thanks for sharing it. TYU ;)

I love this scene! You've captured its peacefulness and beauty very well. Colors are rich and clear. I like that you included the tree. It breaks up the large expanse of sky.
Well done!

This us a really beautiful landscape and you shot it well. The colors are good. The only problem for me is that the horizon line in not right, it is slightly tilted.

Looks like the places I've been to today. I don't see any cottages on this lake and that's a good thing. Our lake has cottages all around it. I should have stayed home and just looked at your picture though because when I was leaning over a bridge, I lost my lens cover in the water. I tried wading in, but the mud sank beneath my feet and I smelled pretty bad, so I said forget it. It was my new Rebel!
