Jack and I were taking our usual shortcut to the park and have passed by this old house so many times I've lost count. But this morning this definitely caught my attention. Although heavily dense, the sun had somehow managed to find this old window. I thought it was both beautiful and sad at the same time. It's hard to describe when you have two emotions going through you at the same time, but I've done my best to capture it to share with you. Thank you for viewing and leaving a comment if you wish.

You have done a GREAT job of capturing it Eileen! This makes for a very interesting image! The sun is just at the perfect spot on this. You can almost imagine someone standing at that window looking out can't you? Very nicely done!! C):-)

A lovely shot Eileen & I can see why you would have mixed emotions. It's amazing how you see something everyday & then in the perfect lighting or whatever it just seems a little different. Excellent clarity, detail & compostion. Thanks you for sharing ... I love it.

That little cabin has almost been concealed completely with the thick growth around it! - it is like a secret den! I can see how you saw beauty in this little hideaway Eileen - it must have looked very pretty in the sunshine! lovely capture! Patti

I think it would be great to look out my window and see nothing but green plants. The little cabin could belong to an artist or writer that " normally" lives in the big city and this would be a great place to reflect and ecape to. This place definitely has some great storeis to tell.

Good eye, Eileen for catching this at just the right time. Five mins later, it would have been different. Great shot. Cheers! Dave

Eileen, this image is a "moment" you've captured in time that like everyone has said, one of those right pace at the right time captures. Thank you so much for sharing.

I thinks it's terrific the way you have surrounded the window with the greenery making it the focal point. It is poignant.

Awesome .. you have a great skill for observing the little things that a lot of people look over. This is kind of sad and lonely, yet, it is being put under the sun's spotlight - which kinda gives a twist to the notorious side. I love this capture, Eileen!
