I've had this sitting on the back burner for awhile until I got around to adding a frame to it. Earlier I had posted this same rose in bud form. Now fully opened to show off its beauty I hope you enjoy and thanks to all for your views and comments.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

The flower stands out by itself, with the color and in full bloom, the frame brings it out even more, great work Eileen, I can't wait till spring.

A show-stopping rose you've captured there, Eileen and such a lovely colour! Sharp without being harsh and the shallow DOF really makes the rose zing. Beautiful!!
