This is just a glimpse of what the beach at Cumberland Island looks like. Certainly a far cry from where I live. As I walked along the shore I could see remnants of the sea life that once called the waters here home. Starfish, Sand Dollars, Horseshoe Crabs with some measuring almost a foot across and varities of crabs. I hope you continue to view my next few posts as we'll still be exploring this beautiful place.

What a beautiful, secluded beach, Eileen and how lovely it must have been to have stood there for real and gazed at this magnificent panorama. Breathtaking!

This is a charming panorama shot (scenes of uninhabited shorelines are hard to beat), but I'm wondering if you did noise reduction on it? The sand seems to be unnaturally smooth and devoid of detail.

I feel like the clouds are welcoming me to this idyllic place.
I love the hint of water on the left and the hint of vegetation on the right. Makes my focus the beach, which is where yours was and rightfully so. The soft colors are just perfect. Great post Eileen.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
