These are gypsy horses finding it hard to get natural food now,so the diet for the mean time is oats and hay.

One of them seems overcome with the find of hay Roger. Wild horses are such a symbol of freedom. They are the grounded version of the eagle.

Very interesting photo - and well composed. On the right you have the end horse facing into the photo, which is perfect. And on the left, the horse facing out of the photo neatly tucked his wrongly-directed head behind a hay stack, leaving the adjacent horse to do the requisite facing into the photo. I had no idea gypsy horses cooperated so well with photographers.

Fabulous capture and love those horses and the one laying down was so happy to find food, it got light headed, lol. Really is a magnificent scene in their natural habitat
