This is created from a photo take through a window at night of are cat Tibbles looking sorry for herself and asking to come in. This is another experiment with the background. When I was looking at her it was if she was part of the darkness outside.I hope you like this photo, please comment.

Effective.

Nicely composed, as well. Tibbles is well-placed within frame. Good good balance.

Caveats?

None, really. More of that of a suggestion..

I do see another possibility, where composition is concerned.

As opposed to a center placement, offsetting Tibbles to the right. Not quite, against the frame. To create a little more intrigue, and make use of the underlying posturing that my eyes perceive and that of the negative space.

Simply put and in short.

Fractalius?

Judicial use, works well.

Nice one. :o)

A good capture of the 'poor little neglected me' look that all cats do do well which is not lost in the fractalius treatment which I think you have used just the right amount of.
This would look good hanging on a wall.
Very appealing :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . I think this is excellent Roger and the Fractalius is complimentary to this shot not distracting as it can sometimes be.

It's a very compelling and haunting image. The colors are excellent. I agree with the earlier comment that off-centering the cat a touch to the right, leaving extra 'gazing space' on the left, would give the image even more dramatic impact. Well done.

Beautiful work - very stunning and unique portrait. That is the artist's eye in how you saw this picture in what you were looking at in real life. Just the right amount of "touch" !

Amazing! Fabulous treatment. However, I, too, am a fan of assemetry and felt this would be flawless with the pic a little to the right. Beautiful cat, beautiful art
