This is the river Lin that runs through the park. When i was a young lad me and my friends used to look for crayfish in this river,we would spend all day walking up the middle and lift rocks Ho they were the days.

Beautiful shot of the river Giz. Makes me want to wade along as well. I love all the green. The trees will be in full foliage before long. Here is a song that celebrates the days.

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

You better hope PETA don't find out about your crazed crayfish hunting days of yore. You could be in for a mess of trouble, or at least some pamphlets being handed out and maybe the odd petition or two.
A lovely capture of the riverbed Roger and a nicely composed scene. Beautiful colours and nice lighting in your photo.

Wonderfully composed. I enjoy your low perspective. As well as the spring colors and energy. An idyllic location. I envy you having access to childhood places. I am curious about the sky color. Thank you for sharing it.

Beautifully composed. The colors are great and the river flowing toward dead center is dramatic. The strong light and shadows add much interest to the photo as well.
