I've uploaded this in the nature category simply because this is totally undisturbed natural environment. No homes or supermarkets can be built on the Severn Estuary. The tidal depth here is one of the largest in the world, & at some time of the day, or night this vegetation will be submerged beneath water.

If you dare stray from the tarmac path take care, & at least wear some boots !! Nature still reigns undisturbed here but some green environmentalists would like to install a tidal barrage here to produce some so called clean electricity.

Natures delicate balance will be permanently damaged by these insensitive actions in this rare undisturbed wildlife paradise the RSPB, & WWT both strongly oppose any such actions.

Beautifuly composed and wonderful narrative. Let's hope they are not allowed to do that. We need to respect mother nature and what she has to offer. sandi♥

This is very clear Phlossie. Both the photo and your narrative. Faved. The swans probably have their ups and downs. Great capture of the naturistic muted hues.

The swans sure dress up the place. Look at that mud! Why would environmentalists want to disturb the natural balance just for some electricity? Are they really who they say they are?

Great picture and narrative my friend. The swans look completely at ease here.

Ask your Congressmen and Senators why our existing wells aren't pumping more than 3 days a month? There a lot of unused capacity in existing wells.

I love swans and I really like the way the beauty of the swans stands out in this shot! Great job. Thanks for the info, too.
