Went on a Sunday drive yesterday out in the high desert and it took us across the Deschutes-Winema National Forest. One of the things for which we were on the lookout was places to camp once the weather warms up a little. We stopped at a private campground obviously run by people who very likely attend the Oregon Country Fair and walked around their place, where I found this little room attached to a trailer. I think the artist captured the bark of the trees incredibly well. As you can see the one just to the left of the door, it looks like part of the tree behind it at first glance. And those real, low hanging branches could almost be part of it, too. My MM offering for this week. On the Deschutes-Winema National Forest, rural Lakeview County, Oregon, USA.

I love this one Ted, what a great find, and whoever did the artwork, is one heck of an artist! This reminds me of the tv show Inked, and how they have had to do camouflage to blend in their subjects.

From an old hippie myself (the tame variety of the species), I recognize the style of art in the painting, even having done a few murals of my own, on dorm room walls, fire station, and the police chief's wall (and no, it was not community service ;o).
