I took this a couple of years ago while on a four wheeling trip with family and friends in Idaho.I thought it was a little ironic that the tree was falling rather than the leaves.
Well, if it fell in the woods and you were there to capture it, then it did make a sound. :D
Looks like a great place to hike as well as four-wheel. Nice shot, Kim. Is it composed of two layers, the one in back the darker one? If that is the case I might suggest giving the lighter layer in front a semi-soft drop shadow, with the same light source direction as the photo itself has. That would give the whole image a lot more dimension. Right now my eye fights to decide if the light layer is in front or the dark layer is a frame. If it's a frame I would suggest a very thin dark line at the boundary between the layers. Does that make sense or am I blathering?
The first rule is: Remove the lens cap!
The second rule is: Always take a litter bag in your car - if it get full, you can just throw it out the window.
Hey Kim!
Can you believe that it is that time of the year already! The leaves are going to change and it seems like summer just came and went so fast!!! I like the colors and the frame you used!
A very vibrant shot for sure.

I can't deny it ant longer but Autumn really is here. Beautiful image of what Mrs b and her late Mother always call "Autumn Tints". Sad the tree's dying but a new one will spring up in its place.
