Meet Mr. Pileated Woodpecker, you can tell by the red on his cheek at his beak. He spotted me and decided not to wait any longer and flew off, then Mrs. came flying in. Took this image last week a few days after I took this one, click here of Mrs Pileated.

Used Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 to bring out more detail and then used iPiccy.com to make it smaller to upload.

Please be patient with me, I've had to go to the Emergency Night Clinic Friday night and I have a severe case of Bronchitis and infection in the lungs. Now I'm on heavy meds and they make me want to sleep alot.

Thank you so much for your comments, friendship and patience in Advance.

Hope you have a wonderful day, ♥ Skates/b> ♥

PW looks perfect Skates.
I hope he doesn't keep you awake with his noise while you are recuperating.

---He spotted me and decided not to wait any longer and flew off, then Mrs. came flying in---

Pat, Mr. Pileated Woodpecker has probably sent Mrs. Pileated Woodpecker to satisfy its curiosity. If I was the Mrs. Pileated Woodpecker, I would have ignored the 'coward' hubby from now on, lol.

Anyhow a very fine 'portrait' again my friend!

Pat please take care of yourself first and foremost - I know those kinds of infections and they can get you down for a couple of weeks. This is a great portrait of him - I see downy woodpeckers but not this kind.
