Well folks Here Comes Peter Cottontail ready for Easter, lol. I think he was out and about making sure he has a clear path for all his running around on Easter.

Can you believe this is the same bunny when I took this picture only 6 days earlier (2016, 03-15) Tues. before this one you are looking at now (2016, 03-21) Monday. They sure change colours quickly, you can tell him by looking at both pictures and at the edges of the ears.

Also see in this shot you can see no snow, well that now is covered again from yesterdays snow and expected more tomorrow. Welcome to our Spring, lol. At least it should not stay too long, hopefully.

Just look at those big back feet and how wide they are. After I took this picture he turned around and was gone in a flash.

Just brought out detail using Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 then used iPiccy.com to make it smaller.

Hope you've enjoyed your stop by and thank you for your time and comments deeply appreciated.

Have a Sunny Day, ♥ Skates

I didn't know they change colors, Pat. That's great for camouflage in any environment. Cute photo of Peter.

Pat, think that Peter Cottontail doesn't have the properties of a chameleon. It could be that its was color was changed after consuming all the Easter eggs, lol. I was just kidding, my friend. Seriously now: it's remarkable however how animals can adapt their natural environment.
Very fine and cute capture, my friend.

Don't tell me that you removed all that snow! The weather did it I expect. Nice shot of the Easter bunny. He has "tanned" very fast with the warmer weather.

What a cutie he is Pat and quite the change in color in a very short time. Now if it snows does he turn white again? LOL

I have heard of a horse of a different color Skates, now I can add a rabbit to the mix.
Well shot.

Bunny has certainly changed as you previously said, mother nature is a smart cookie! Top marks Skates for still recognizing Bunny and this fine image of course.

The white was his winter coat to help camouflage him in the snow. Now, he is getting his summer coat to blend in with the grasses. Good capture.
