Hi everyone, things have been really crazy around here with so many different things going on. Our daughter and grandson are flying in from Alberta on Canada Day (2017, 07-01), to visit for 2 weeks.

The first tulips were planted in Ottawa in 1945, when the Netherlands sent 100,000 tulip bulbs as a postwar gift of gratitude for the role that Canadian soldiers played in the liberation of the Netherlands.

Blooming in the colours of the Canada flag, Canada 150 Tulips is truly wonderful to see in person.

Made the collage with Fotor Photo Editor. Captured these beautiful tulips in my friends garden and she gave me permission to use them.

Will look at all the uploads but won't be able to comment on all, have around 300 to view. It will take me a while but I'll eventually catch up. Please be patient.

Thanks for your time, friendship and comments in advance.

"HAPPY CANADA DAY" to all my Canadian friends out there. Stay safe and enjoy.

We, in the Netherlands, aka Holland are still grateful, Pat. Not only for our Canadian friends, but for all the allied forces that have liberated our country from terror giving us back our freedom.

Wish therefore all Canadians a wonderful celebration for 150 years Canada! Here's my PRESENT!

Happy 'Canada Day', my friend! Thanks for this wonderful collage!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
