Captured this during our stay at Boyne Mountain Resort in MI, Oct. 17- 18, 2022.
In full you can see the Sky Bridge which is the World's Longest Timber-Towered Suspension Bridge.
While we were there it was closed due to very high winds and if you view in full you can see the worker in a greenish jacket checking it out for damage. It's 1,2000-foot-long and 118 ft above the valley below, but a spectacular view of the surrounding area.
We took up the ski lift and I went walking beyond to get this shot of one of many ski runs, the colours & of course the suspension bridge at this resort.

What a great view that is, the bridge is surely the longest I've ever seen and such a gorgeous Fall scene. Wonderful capture.

Pat, this is a breathtaking view, mainly because of the splendid Fall colors.
But the Sky Bridge also provides a significant part of the breathtaking nature of this spectacle.
In my younger days sometimes I got seasick at a high sea state, but I think people walking across the bridge will have a similar experience in a strong wind.
It's a pity that the weather conditions didn't allow you to use the bridge, but safety comes first. Judging by this beautiful photograph, the by you chosen alternative was the right choice! Perfectly done, 👍!
