Captured this on (2022, 10-17) one of the days we went up the one ski lift that runs during the off seasons. As you seen it was a cloudy and cool day with wonderful autumn colours.
We are looking down at the Mountain Grand Lodge & Spa (Boyne Mountain MI) We have enjoyed our stay there several times.

Another breathtaking view from you, Pat. The fall colors are striking. The cloudy day was in your favor, because I think a clear blue sky in this autumn season is less appropriate than one with such a dramatic sky.

Not only are you providing us with a lovely combination of modern American with English Tudor in this lodge, but the surrounding hills are loaded with glorious fall color. The height of your viewpoint was perfect for this shot, Pat. Amazing. We visited Mackinaw City back in 2001 and have always wanted to go back so we can see Michigan's "Mitten", so thanks for the heads up on this place, not far away from Mackinaw and Fort Michilimackinac.
