you can't walk here in the winter time because the surf is too high. in the background you see the famous silhouette of "bali hai". between the second lava deposit and bali hai is hanalei bay. it's spectacular! enjoy. you'll like it best full frame.

This is a dynamite photo Jen. I can remember being right where you are taking this photo. Your colors and composition are breathtaking and the sea sprays show up so nicely with the different shades of blue water. I'm sure you enjoyed being there as much as I did. Fabulous photography. Thanks for sharing it with us. Anita

A good photo to dream with. The colors are great and to be there and hear the ocean must be terrific.

Jen, what interesting shapes, colors and textures you've included in your photo. That inviting water with its differences in colors is remarkable. Add the sharp focus and great composition - a joy to see! - Patty

Very nice, Jen. Seems familiar. Well done.
Now I remember. You had a closer shot, further up the coast, towards Bali Hai, without this secondary ridge, showing.

It sure is good to see you posting again. Where did you disappear to this time? So, where are we now? We were in Alaska but this seems like Hawaii. Beautiful composition. The colors in the rocks are awesome and rich and to say the least-varied.
The water is gorgeous. My kind of place. Tens girl!

You definely are really blessed to be at such a place. I guess I can dream and at least see a little of life outside of this part of the country from you guys sharing it. Very good shot and you composed it so well.

The photograph is splendid with the Lava rocks on the forefront. It seems exactly or at the golf the sea still hisses of heat.
