This is so lovely and so worth getting wet over. Love the quiet misty morning atmosphere--absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing this one, it's a keeper. -Twig
Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand.

A wonderful shot Jen ... I love the mist. Looks like it was a peaceful morning & well worth the walk through the wet grass to capture this.. Excellent.
You got this veiw from your window????? wow! send me over there, please!..
this is a stunner Jen........you done right to dash out and get this!...how lucky can you be!......Ok ok, I'm jealous!.....
THis is so beautiful! I just love how he seems to glow...must be the wonderful morning light, right on him, he knows where to go to get warm eh?? The background is fantastic. A misty morning and the silhouette effect is perfect. I really appreciate your allowing yourself to let the cool air hit ya and get a bit wet too....I woulda done the same thing! Sometimes we have to go thru a bit of pain to get a good shot, but its always worth it..V

Photographers must be crazy, but I'm glad to know another one. A beautiful photo. THe different layers of fog on a calm morning really makes the photo.
jen im sooooo glad im watching your gallery by having you in my friends list
such an amazingly delicate soft image with the sharpest of detail where the eye falls in the form of that swan (could it be pushed over to the left a tiiiiiny bit ... not sure ... ok lets leave it where it is ;) )
the layers of mist and distant countryside are emotive and well woven into the composition
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
When I first looked at the photo I thought it was to dark. Them I hit it with the mouse and found it to be a great photo. It is fantastic and if I was on my own computer I would download it. Good picture.
A lovely moment you have captured beautifully. But I seriously think that you should crop the image since there are lots of water area which has little action covers the majority of the shot. If you want to give this image more punch you should bring out the important places of the image to attention by doing so.

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
very very nice. the thing i like about this the most are the opposing focal effects... soft and misty in the background, and sharp on the bird in the water. well done
Few images really grab me, but this has such emotion in it that it invited me to spend a great deal of time just looking.
