Very impressive Jen. Your image reflects in a wonderful way the sacred atmosphere there.
Very good work!

Ooh, I like this. Lovely symmetry with so many perspective lines drawing the eye to the half open, or is that half closed, gate at the end of the Aisle. Gothic, spooky, forlorn. Many feelings wrapped into a single picture.. As you can tell, I really like this.

I do like this Jen. Looks a litte airish to spend the night but makes a great photo. Must be one of those retractable roofs.

Love the dark tones. It helps with the already great mood.

Hey Jen,
I recognised the view immediately when it appeared on the first page, (~8
Wonderful shots to take there, this is definitely one of them,
I miss some more contrast here and there,
Other than that,
Nicely done,

Thanks for sharing

Thats a great picture! Liking the mood and as Chris says the eye is drawn right up the middle to the half open gate. Cloudy sky going on as well. Well done with this one!

A wonderful picture Jen,very atmospheric. Kirkstall Abbey is wonderful especially as it is right in Leeds. We have friends who live very near to the Abbey.

Awesome shot Jen. Can you imagine what it took to build such a fine structure? Thanks for sharing this great shot of it.

Looks dark and gloomy so I bet it was an overcast day in the UK.
I like where you stood when you shot this and I like the repetition of the columns and the detail. Wonderful, Jen.

I was waiting on your take of that expedition. I was beginning to think you hadn't taken one, except for THIS VIEW

I like the longer view.

Marvelous capture Jen. Love all the dark contrast of the walls & remaining front to the sky and grass beyond. The detail and textures are really amazing & the way the walk leads your eyes to the end. Wonderful capture and a big BRAVO
