this was taken in the slide rock area of oak creek canyon/sedona in arizona. the red rocks seem to draw tourists. what i liked about this was the fact that the lighter color rocks are in the back and seem to be striped with red. this is also best viewed FULL FRAME. thanks in advance for any comments. ENJOY!

Really like the different colors of red and white mixed and the textures. My favorite rock is the red with the white strip in it. Nice shot

I always find the red rocks of the Sedona area fascinating. I like how you captured the rocks striations & the different shades of red / neutral tones contrast so nicely with the green. Wonderful capture Jen.

This impressive image has to seen at full screen size indeed Jen. One can notice then the trees as well to get a proper idea of the size of the rocks. Wonderful textures in this one too.

Jen - This is a gorgeous photo! The clarity and late afternoon (?) lighting creates great shadows to emphasize the undulations of the rocks. The red rock among the striped ones is interesting for composition. The trees framing the shot complete the scene wonderfully. Thad
