The one who has mentioned a long time ago this formation the 'three sisters' must have had a good phantasy. To me it's possible that there are other reasons as well for doing so, like overcome by the heat or too much whiskey drinking (lol).
Great and well captured post of this area again, Jen. Well done.
Awesome scenery and well captured. A bit of fringing of some kind on some of the rock/sky edges, don't know where that came from. I was just watching a travel documentary with the English actor Steven Fry that was showing Monument Valley area, makes me want to buy a ticket.
The Three Sister rock formations are eye-catching. I like how the plateau formation in the foreground leads into the background rock formations. Great colors too. Wonderful capture Jen.
Jen - Your photos of Monument Valley have seen very enjoyable. The scene composed in this shot is great, but the lighting is a bit harsh and washes out the details of the vertical rock faces. But, keep the Valley photos coming. Thad
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Great and well captured post of this area again, Jen. Well done.
